The most sought after version of the Healey 3000, the Mk. III phase two combines the great driving formula of the earlier six-cylinder Healey’s with a more comfortable, practical cockpit, with its wind-up windows, attractive instrumentation and wood-veneer dash.

We have selected an excellent example for you to drive from a UK wide search, finished in the classic Healey colours of Ice Blue and Ivory this car has only ever done very limited mileage, and is in highly original fettle. Re-upholstered in blue leather with new wet weather equipment the car is in excellent order and is the ideal cruiser, eating up the Westcountry roads at low revs with its long-legged ohv six.

The gearbox is tight, in fact feels like new, with positive clutch, gearbox and brakes, this big-engined sportscar is a delight to drive and where better to enjoy it than in Donald Healey’s own county – Cornwall.

Born in Perranporth on the North coast, Donald Healey is arguably the county’s most famous motoring son, try his famous product and perhaps learn a little about this great man… If the E type Jaguar is sleek and lithe, the Healey is a proper hairy-chested sportscar.....Bull dog like and tough. Truly a motoring delight.
